New York City entered Phase 4 of Governor Andrew Cuomo's New York Forward, reintroducing low-risk outdoor activities like botanical gardens and zoos with capacity restrictions, film and television production, and professional sports without audiences. New York State has implemented a 14-day quarantine on anyone arriving from a state with a significant level of infection from the community spread. All travelers from outside the state of designated states must complete the State Department of Health Traveler form upon entering New York. for more information, visit ny.gov.
The city has partnered with train, hotels, bus and car rental companies, they require anyone booking a stay in NYC to fill out a travel form so the Test & Trace Corps can locate them and monitor travelers in isolation.
In adition,People who violate the state’s order will be subject to fines($2,000 for the first violation, $5,000 for the second and up to $10,000 if they cause harm) and a mandatory quarantine.
